Hi Anja! I hope you are well! I’ve previously sent you an e-mail regarding an enquiry, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. As I might have mentioned, I found your work via @ghostgoods and we just love your illustration style! We’re moving to a new home soon and I was wondering if it would be possible for you to capture a portrait of our family, which includes me (Tanya), my partner (Llewellyn), our little toddler Lente, as well as our pups Dexter (Frenchie) and Kingsley (Bulldog) and our kitten Hagrid (Persian). Here’s a bit about us: Llewellyn is a big fan of all the cool things from the 80’s: the likes of classic films like The Goonies, Gremlins, Star Wars as well as pinball machines, arcade games, and so on. He also has a huge love for writing music (he’s a drummer) and has a soft spot for American muscle cars. You can usually find him wearing his trucker cap, ripped jean shorts and a t-shirt. Our little girl, Lente, is turning 3 years old in April and definitely takes after her dad. She loves music, dancing, and refuses to drive in a normal car (she shares her dad’s love for old classic cars). She’s often in Llewellyn’s clothes from when he was a toddler and definitely rocks an 80’s vibe – either dungarees or jeans with a band/movie t-shirt, or busting out a move in a matching Adidas tracksuit. Her hair is usually in two pigtails. Lente is also obsessed with our pets and they’re truly the best of buds. As for me, I can safely say that I share a love for old-school classics, as well as being a total Harry Potter/Lego nerd. I usually wear black, florals, or mid-century inspired clothing/dresses and love me some winged liner and red lipstick. As we’re moving to Paarl, we’d love if there can be some sort of reference (big or small) to Paarl/die Boland – if possible, of course! I hope I haven’t bored you by now! I’ve tried to include as much info about us as I can; feel free to use it in whichever way you see possible 🙂 I hope it makes for a fun project! Thanks so much!
