17 August is my partner’s birthday (Nico) and I would like to give him this commission as a gift but also to put up in our house. A picture of the two of us and our pets (dog, bird, cat) with the Bathurst Pineapple in the background, some desert rose succulents and delicious monster leaves and maybe a donkey and Nguni cow and the cathedral for Grahamstown – perhaps these can be a scenary on his t-shirt. Our house has an arch with hibiscus around it, would be nice if this can be a border around us, we’ve named our house NiCasa.
