Val De Vie editorial illustrations: visiting Japan
Val De Vie magazine created an extensive feature on visiting Japan ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup. As we had very recently visited Japan, the content was familiar, and I thoroughly enjoyed selected a few choice visuals to accompany the article.
Cape Town Carnival
Brief: The annual Cape Town Carnival, is a street parade that showcases and celebrates the diversity of the city. It was unfortunately delayed for the 2020 year owing to cover. Nonetheless we had a great time creating the visuals!
Cape Cork
Brief: Cape Cork are a Hong-Kong-based South African wine supplier. Playing with imagery from both countries, this illustration of a Hong-Kong dragon sipping its way over the winelands was used as a promotional image for the brand online.
Pixel Vulture
In celebration of their birthday, the tech blog Pixel Vulture approached a variety of artists to depict their various blog categories: Gaming, Tech, Geek, and of course, the pixel vulture himself!
Askov Højskole
While in Denmark, I was approached by Nanna Inie to do editorial illustrations for Askov Højskole, a Danish educational institution.

Prom Dresses
These illustrations were created for an editorial feature on the Superbalist’s “way of us” blog. The article highlighted the most classic pop culture prom dresses ahead of South Africa’s matric ball season.
Standard Bank
This digital illustration was made while employed at Masters & Savant International, it would become a large scale mural at the Standard Bank HQ in Johannesburg, showing their approach to Corporate Social Investment.
