A balance-imbued medallion serves two purposes: it reminds us of the delicate balance we are part of, as well as provides us with something to hold on to when we feel like we are collapsing. “Stratera” is embodied by a cat, that lithe and graceful creature which always lands on its feet, despite circumstance. The notion of balance is complemented by a protea on the reverse side of the medallion symbolising our ability to thrive despite hardship.

Inspired by centuries of tradition, Nanna created a selection of playful and contemporary coin necklaces to manifest your hopes and wishes, represented through four animals: The Dog for courage (Fortitudo), The Cat symbolizing balance (Statera), The Rabbit to bring luck (Fortuna) and The Pangolin for protection (Praesidium).
